Environmental activist and former Vice-President Al Gore today announced his support for Democratic candidate Barack Obama in the United States presidential election. In an email sent to Obama supporters, Al Gore voices his support for the presumptive nominee.

Former Vice President Al Gore re-entered the dating pool after his divorce from Tipper nearly two years ago, and now he has a serious girlfriend, reports the Washington Post.

They are also big backers of Massachusetts senator John Kerry and his presidential bid, and also have contributed to the PAC of Connecticut senator Joseph Lieberman as well as to that of his former presidential running mate, ex-vice president Al Gore.  

We would have expected a story like this to come from an outlet like the Weekly World News, but today the highly credible Washington Post is reporting that Al Gore is now dating a horsewoman, which we can only assume means that she is a half-horse, half-woman — like a female centaur, also known as a Kentauride.
