Two of the charges against former Alabama governor Don Siegelman, targeted by Karl Rove in a political drive-by character assassination, have been reversed. In an order issued today, a US appeals court reversed two counts related to Richard Scrushy’s activities while on the state board to which Siegelman appointed him.
