Actress Regina King, wrote a heated letter to the producers of the 62nd Annual Prime Time Emmy awards. For those of you old schoolers out there, you probably remember the actress Alaina Reed-Hall as “Olivia”. She was the funky and spunky Sesame Street resident with a songbirds voice. She also played the down-to-earth neighbor of Marla Gibbs and Jackee Harry on the NBC show, 227. In recent years, she has been seen in a slew of commercials. Alaina Reed Hall, the beloved actress who starred on 'Sesame Street' and '227' after appearing on Broadway, lost her battle to breast cancer on Dec. 17 at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif. Actress and singer Alaina Reed Hall has died at the age of 63. Details of her death have not been made public but sources indicate that the cause of death may have been related to her battle with breast cancer. Hall died on December 17th.
