Alan Rickman was honored with the James Joyce Award from The University College of Dublin’s Literary and Historical Society at the end of March. The pictures are a little late but its always good to see Rickman’s face.
Coming up for Alan is the latest installment of the Harry Potter series, The Half-Blood Prince which releases on July 17th.

I stumbled upon this picture of Alan Rickman circa 1984 from a tv mini series he acted in entitled, “The Barchester Chronicles.” He plays the role of Rev. Obadiah Slope. During the filming of this movie, Rickman was 38.
