Using The Global Economy

The albuterol inhaler that my insurance co. charges $35 for is manufactured in Ireland. I ordered my albuterol from a Canadian company (@$6 per inhaler) that was mailed from Assam having been manufactured in Goa. The Indian retail price that was stamped on the inhaler said "not to exceed Rs. 90, including tax." This equals $2.47, and everybody is a winner. Profits for business and fair price for me.
U.S. drug companies may say that's not fair-- but if they can shift production from country to country to lower prices, we should surely be able to switch suppliers.

Hey, if you can save that much money, and are assured of an equal quality of medicine, and get away with it, sounds like a great idea to me.
