Not A Place for Hillstarts! I'm writing this on Sunday morning, as we make the 270 mile journey from San Fran to Mammoth Lakes.  

BEDFORD — Alcatraz Island served as a maximum security federal prison for nearly 30 years and it’s said that no one ever successfully escaped from “The Rock”.
