I'm thinking that Alec had a lot going on in his life and wasn't really sure how to handle it. I just read in the Lancaster Sunday News that Alec had been admitted to Philhaven in Mount Gretna because he had attempted to commit suicide before the killings. I have a feeling that Alec had a lot on his plate of life, his parents are divorced and that’s not an easy situation and kids really don't have a say in those kinds of decisions, he was admitted to Philhaven in Mount Gretna for a attempted suicide, and then he had some issue going on with Kevin, his best friend, and then the killings happened. My thought for his logically reasoning of the killings is that Alec needed lots of help in fixing his life and know one knew how to help him, so he got people’s attention by killing his best friend and his best friends parents and he did get attention, that he needs help but its not thought out that way by police or the public. I’m not saying that it was right that he killed those people, but if they ever release the reason why he killed them, may then it would make more sense.
