The shortstop, who spent time with the BoSox during the 2006 season, is headed back to the Green Monster to finish out the season, as Boston attempts to plug up the hole in their infield. SPANISH actor Alex Gonzalez is playing the mutant Riptide in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class, it's been reported.
His involvement was revealed by a Spanish superhero fansite, which says Alex will spend four months in London shooting the film.
Gonzalez is said to be "super excited" about landing the part and the site - Blog de Superheroes - says he has confirmed the character he is playing.
