Alex Reid Hints He's Ready to Propose to Katie Price

The cage-fighter – who was crowned the winner of British reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother last week – is madly in love with the model and is getting ready to pop the question.

He said: “She’s ‘The One’, 100 percent. I’ve completely realised how fantastic she is. How generous and kind she is, and how much I fancy her. She is just the perfect woman for me.”

The couple out for a day of vacation on the coast of Spain. (Photo Agency) When quizzed on whether he was on the brink of proposing, Alex replied: “That’s a secret. I’ve got lots of plans but I’m going to keep them a mystery.”

Alex, 34, also hopes the public will stop giving him and 31-year-old Katie such a hard time.

The couple endured a torrid few months when they started dating following Katie’s split from now ex-husband Peter Andre, but the muscle-bound hunk believes people will now be able to see they are not bad people.

Alex added in an interview with Britain’s Star magazine: “She’s my girlfriend, I love her and I don’t want to see her suffer like that. Perhaps I can help change that now. I hope I can. That’s part of the reason I did the show – I wanted people to stop giving her grief because she was with me.”
