All this talk of the CFDA Awards got me thinking of our dear Alexander McQueen and his immense influence. Do you remember his signature skull print scarf? The design was hailed for the mixture of dark subject matter and light chiffon texture. McQueen would later reincarnate the design through apparel and accessories, footwear and those fabulous skull clutches.
