The Russian-born World Women’s Chess champion Alexandra Kosteniuk beat Peruvian hopeful Dysi Cori in a match.
The ‘2010 Machu Picchu Challenge’ was held in Machu Picchu as Kosteniuk collected the winner’s purse of 10,000 soles ($3,500 US dollars).
