13-Year-Old Dad Spends First Night At Home With Baby, Plays Playstation
Innocent-eyed Alfie Patten spent his first night acts as a 13-year-old father and said: "It was easier than I thought."
Four-footer - which looks more than eight - said: "I know that I am young, but I have plans to be a good father."
When he went to PlayStation with a 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, added: "I think it will be good parents. I'd like to work extra hard in school." Chantelle looked up from the 18-rated action game Saints Series II granted his first night in the hospital since 7 pounds 3 ounces Maisi daughter was hard and left her "in a daze."
But she went on: "Alfie was really good with it.
"He made the first bottle and then we were in the alternate feeding. Made the first bit with me.
"We do not need help from mom. I'm really back to sleep. I just stood there in a daze."
It added: "It's better than be at home, but in the hospital. I am now at home and it's just us and our family."
Both Chantelle and Alfie change Maisi four day old daughter of diapers and baby sleeping in the bedroom of his mother in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
It's typical teenage screw hole - packed tight with wonderful toys, including a giant pink teddy bear. A school physical education certificate proudly displayed on the wall.

Their story shows the sun yesterday shocked Britain.
Even Prime Minister Gordon Brown said, noting: "I think everybody wants to avoid teenage pregnancies."
Chantelle, but insisted: "When I was pregnant, police and social workers came to interview us, and we decided that it would be good parents Maisi.
"Now it appears that we can all be, and give her a great future. When Alfie is 16, can come and live with me and my family.
"We do not want to get an apartment because it will not have enough money and I want us both to stay in school with the best possible future for Maisi."
Few parents pointed criticism. Both knew Alfie and Chantelle were "go", but said he knew that the relationship was sexual.
Alfie lives with mum Nicola, 43, to £ 395,000 from separate houses in nearby Hailsham.
A bold message in the window reads: "I'm horny."
Interesting John Holmes, 90, said: "I have always found it nice, but I know a lot of neighbors complained to the noisy party."
Nicola separated from Alfie's father Dennis, a 45-year-old father of ten, including three step-children.
He said: "As we know, what was up? We were just kids - we were shocked as everyone else."
He said a couple hid baby pregnancy for six weeks, and added: "I have a feeling that the doctor who told them she was pregnant, it should be said for adults."
Chantelle lives with his mother, Penny, 38, father Steve, 43, and his five brothers in the Council House.
Families survive on benefits. But Penny explained: "Steve is a fisherman, and work is scarce.
"I have to stay home to care for Maisi and my other children, so that Chantelle could go to school in April and take her GCSEs. What is important now is Chantelle career and family, and that this problem does not mean that it can not have the same dreams like any other 15 years. "
Penny also rejected the claim that a neighbor has to have three other boys spend the night with Chantelle.
Sean Thomas, 20, claimed: "She is not innocent young girl who got pregnant with the first boy who came along."
Furious Penny morning: "This is nonsense. Chantelle lost virginity to Alfie."
Chantelle was born 7 pounds 3 ounces Maisi in Eastbourne hospital on Monday.
Social Services in Eastbourne admitted to "concern" over the case but promised to put "all their support, including intensive monitoring. Police said he investigated, but decided no further action, as was" not in anyone's interests "to prosecute.
Julie Cane, 37, whose daughter goes to school with Chantelle Cavendish, said: "I feel sorry for both. This school is not a bug, it's a very good school."
A family friend said Alfie was thrilled when he learned that his father.
Becky Holmes, 19, said: "It's a beautiful boy.
"When found, his girlfriend was pregnant, my girl paid much attention.
"I was quite shocked, but he'sa natural with babies, though still looks like one himself.
"He is so small that even the appearance of his age. But he says that they are ready for it." Another family friend, 28-year-old David Lee, said: "I am really shocked. I knew nothing about it. I was just there to round two weeks ago on the Xbox to play games with him.
"He said nothing. You think that would be a few days away from his father, he could have stated that".
Children's secretary Ed Balls said: "You look at this young guy is the father, because he is so young - and young girl - and you feel that this is not okay, it looks so terrible.
"Our first response should be to ensure that the boy is growing up the mother and baby all the support they need.
"And it is also important that we do everything we can to ensure that these forms of teenage pregnancies will happen in the future."
Former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith, who operates the Center for Social Justice think tank, said: "This highlights the point that we made about Broken Britain.
"This is accusative, it is about determining the total collapse of some parts of the company within the meaning of what is right and wrong."
Local MEP Nigel Waterson, said: "This is a very sad story that will have huge implications for both parents and child.
"I am very pleased that the families are supportive, but it raises major questions about gender, education, and the sexualisation of our society."
