Last week when I reported on this story, I thought it was just a matter of fact story- 13 year old Alfie  Patten who looks like he is 8 years old has baby Maisie Roxanne with 15 year old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman.  End of story……right?  Wrong!  Two other young boys have come forward to say that they could be the father of Chantelle’s baby.  Okay, are we in the middle of a Maury Povich or Jerry Springer episode?   Young Alfie has agreed to take a DNA test (his mother just explained to him what they are) to prove that he is the father.

Chantelle is furious with the allegations that Richard Godswell (left) and Tyler Barker (right) are making:

Chantelle, 15, said as she was comforted by the pint-size schoolboy: “I love Alfie. I lost my virginity to him.  “We decided to start a physical relationship because we love each other. There has been no one else.  “He gets very jealous when I talk to other boys and I don’t like him talking to other girls.”  Alfie, who looks only eight and was just 12 when Chantelle told him she was pregnant, insisted about the claims: “Other stupid boys are lying.”

It apparently has gotten so bad that Tyler’s older brother was heard bragging in the streets that his brother had sha**** Chantelle.  This is a mess.  At this point, I’m torn about what I’m hoping for for this couple.  What are the choices?  There’s a good chance that Alfie is not the father; because I swear he is really 8 (or just the fact that he looks it) and I think that he would be really easy for Chantelle to use him as a mark to be the father of her baby.  But then again, there’s a chance that these boys are just being mean and trying to get their name in the papers.  Or the reality show junkie in me thinks that there  is a good chance that Chantelle has been out doing the hoochie coochie with all of these boys and there may be a few more potential dads coming forward.  Anyway it goes, these kids may be on Maury next week to have the DNA results read to the world.
