Effect of young
parents on child
development?
My parents were 21 & 23 when I was born; married and had another kid. The marriage lasted 15yrs, and I think I grew up pretty well.
People used to have children at this sort of age as the social norm, what effect do you think it has on children growing up today to have what are now considered “young
parents”?

Well nature intended us to have children young, that is why our bodies are best built to take it when we are young. Of course younger perants handle the pregnancy and birth physical stages easier than older perants. From an energy point of view men and women have alot more of it when they are young and therefor are good for rearing young children. I think that maybe they relate to the children better because the age gap is not so much either.
On the downside young perants are probably not so calm as older ones and are struggling financially. I think this is prob not a bad thing however as it teaches children about struggling for success and the more passionate side of human nature which seems to die out the older people get.

The Sun Newspaper Reported: A 13-year-old boy from Britain, no taller than four feet, has fathered a baby girl, The Sun reports. New dad Alfie Patten and girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, 15, had sex just once, says Alfies father, Dennis, but thats all it takes. While dad admitted the boy doesnt understand the enormity of his situation, he says his son seems desperate to be a responsible and devoted father. “He could have shrugged his shoulders and sat at home on his PlayStation. But he has been at the hospital every day.” Baby-faced Alfie, who is 13 but looks more like eight, became a father four days ago when his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman gave birth to 7lb 3oz Maisie Roxanne. He told how he and Chantelle, 15, decided against an abortion after discovering she was pregnant. The shy lad, whose voice has not yet broken, said: I thought it would be good to have a baby. I didnt think about how we would afford it. I dont really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me £10. i do not own this video, the sun does
