Orenthal James Simpson Arrested for Armed Robery
(mug shot)O.J was arrested in Las Vegas today at the Palms Hotel on charges of Armed Robbery. The story goes like this.... A man name Alfred Beardsley was selling O.J. Simpson memorabilia in Las Vegas (Who would want that sh!t). He contacted a guy named Tom Riccio (an Auctioneer). Riccio, who believed the merchandise was stolen, contacted O.J. to give him a heads up. After speaking with O.J., Roccio arranged a "meeting" between O.J and Beardsley. (Something tells me Beardsley did not know O.J. was invited to the “meeting”). It's at this meeting that the robbery took place. Roccio reported that O.J. arrived at this meeting with of group men to retrieve the memorabilia. Did I mention the men had guns? So this was pretty much a heist. The meeting took place last Thursday, and Today, Sunday September 16th O.J. was arrested.
His bail was set at 87, ooo dollars.If convicted he could face up to 15 years in Jail....Talk about karma. O.J. had this to say:
"I'm O.J. Simpson. How am I going to think that I'm going to rob somebody and get away with it?" he said. "You've got to understand, this ain't somebody going to steal somebody's drugs or something like that. This is somebody going to get his private (belongings) back. That's it. That's not robbery.
"Huh? No O.J. when guns are involved that’s a robbery. Maybe writing a book called “If I Did It" was not the smartest move, you’re just reminding everyone you got away with murder. I have a feeling that these charges are gonna stick.
