ANDRE RISON ARRESTED IN SAN ANTONIO
Former NFL star Andre Rison was arrested in San Antonio Tuesday morning for public intoxication, according to TMZ.com.
Sources say Rison – who famously had his house burned down by then girlfriend Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes – arrived to the Crown Plaza Hotel with a friend around 2 a.m. and caused a scene when they learned the local bars had closed.
“We’re told the two then began to act ‘rambunctious’ in the lobby and cops had to be called,” TMZ reported.
“Once police arrived and determined Rison and his pal were intoxicated enough to be a danger to themselves and the public, the two were arrested. Both were fined $85 and released when they sobered up and saw a judge.”
Rison, a former wide receiver, reportedly stuck around the jail to sign autographs after he was released.
