Lionsgate, the studio behind the "Hunger Games" film franchise, has found its man . THR reports that the studio has settled on Francis Lawrence as the director for the second film in the series, "Catching Fire."  

Francis Lawrence, whose previous films include "Water For Elephants" and "I Am Legend," will direct "Catching Fire," taking over the "Hunger Games" movie series from the director Gary Ross.  

The search for a director for Catching Fire looks to be over, as Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) has been officially offered the job.
