Alicia Keys shined on the red carpet as she made her way into the Grammy awards on Sunday. The singer wore a high metallic gold collar that made a statement in a simple black dress with some serious shoulder pads.The singer arrived at the show with husband Swizz Beatz, who did his best to outdo her in a purple crushed velvet suit with matching bow tie. Alicia was spotted the day before the Grammy awards hugging Clive Davis as the two consoled each other upon learning of the death of Whitney Houston.
The 54th annual Grammy Awards were broadcast at 8pm, 7pm CT on CBS, and held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The show honors music's finest artists with the most prestigious award in the industry. This year's highlights include performances by Bruce Springsteen, Adele, and Jennifer Hudson, who was chosen to pay tribute to Whitney Houston, who died the day before the awards.
