Who Wore Catherine Malandrino Better? Laura Dern or Alicia Witt

Laura Dern wore this two-toned haltered Malandrino Resort 2009 gown, when she attended the Critics Choice Awards 2009 last month.

The chiffon dress had an empire waistline embellished with multicoloured pailettes.

She accessorized with a silver jewelry, and a shimmering box clutch.

Less than two weeks later Alicia Witt wore the same dress to the RIAA and Feeding America Inauguration Charity Ball.

The actress wore her hair in a loose curly updo, and completed her look with a very similar - if not the same - shimmering box clutch.

Alicia wins this for me, because I prefer her hairstyle with this dress, to Laura's.
