Brock Lesnar Retirement - Lesnar Retires After Loss to Alistair Overeem

MMA fighter Brock Lesnar announced his official retirement.He returned to the octagon to fight Alistair Overeem.  Overeem defeated Lesnar by technical knockout 2:26 into the first round of the fight.  The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.Lesnar announced his retirement immediately after the defeat."I've had a really difficult couple of years with my disease," Brock Lesnar said. NSAC vote decides on Alistair Overeem's continuation request

The NSAC will on Tuesday vote whether Alistair Overeem gets additional time to gather support for his recent claim that a doctor-prescribed anti-flammatory caused him to fail a pre-fight drug test, or if a vote on his current license request is already in order. Alistair Overeem denied license to fight, may reapply with NSAC on Dec. 27

LAS VEGAS - Alistair Overeem will be on the shelf until at least Dec. 27. After a lengthy Tuesday hearing in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Overeem was denied a license to fight in Nevada and must now wait nine months before reapplying with the commission.
