Chasing Squidoo Lensrank - Pointless or Not?

There are many in the squidoo community who are obsessed with lensrank and how their lenses rank on squidoo. Here we will discuss and debate whether such people are wasting their time or not. The benefits of a high lensrank seem to be that if in the top payout tier you get a nice little share of the advertising revenue. Also it's alleged that a high lensrank will also bring you more traffic. Both of these are obviously desirable and worthy of celebrating. Though we'll discuss how worth it they are!
