Best squidoo blogs 2011

Well, with me and other prominent squids having deserted Squidu, I guess it’s time to reevaluate on how to keep informed about the best way to make use of the platform. For me, for instance, about half my online income comes from Squidoo (that includes my own affiliate links). I have to stay informed about things. I thought a new forum might be what we would end up with, but with squidu solely in lensmaster hands, I no longer think that a likely scenario. Instead I think it’s going to have to be blogs.

I personally use Google reader to stay updated on blogs I’m subscribed to. Many blogs also have, like my own, the option to get the latest posts by email. Anyhow, without further ado, these are all blogs to read to know what is what at squidoo (very indiscriminate list – I am simply posting all the blogs I could find that talk about what’s what at Squidoo that have been updated in May 2011 at least):

  • Squidoo HQ – for the official news, LOTD etc. This is the spot where HQ WANTS you to give feedback on whatever THEY are working on.
  • Marketing Spiritual – yes, shameless plug for this blog. Subscribe here. (in case this list gets copied without reference to the source) [Proud to report over 100 subscribers here ;) ]
  • Potpiegirl - she doesn’t write about Squidoo exclusively, but she does have great advice on how to make a living online (though she does stray the ‘spammy’ line a bit too often for my taste)
  • Squidbits – Greekgeek’s Squidoo Blog – one of the most helpful squids around who has, like me, defected from squidu.
  • Squidutils – TheFluffanutta’s blog. He posts VERY unfrequently, but when he has something to say it’s definitely worth reading.
  • Squidoography – very popular blog, probably because this lensmaster (can’t tell who it is) posts their earnings here. [edit]Chadrew – thank you Michelle [/edit]
  • I Squidoo, do you? – Susan posts her tips and squidoo insights
  • Swimming With Giant Squids
  • Do you squidoo? – offers a free ebook
  • Squidology – mix of promoting her own lenses and squidoo tips.
  • Squidoo Girl-  by our young celebrity lensmaster Michelle89
  • Thriving Mom – down to earth squidoo blog that does a great job of explaining the basics to newbies
  • Squidlog – community blog with online marketing, SEO and making money online tips as well as the opportunity to build your own blog on any topic.

I think I’ve probably covered the important ones, but do tell me if I missed any.

In the comments you can of course share your blogs featuring your own lenses, but I will only promote blogs without nofollow on this list who talk about squidoo in a more productive sense: helping others.

[If you post more than 2 links your comment will be automatically moved into my spam folder. I may, or may not, find it there to be rescued and published. I'd advice you all not to take that risk.]
