By sontolohet on  From unonewsnetz.blogspot.com
Three years ago on this date we were beginning to hear the news about a young Latina transwoman named Angie Zapata who was found dead in her apartment in Greeley, CO.     My first report here at TransGriot about it was in conjunction with my rant about the jacked up media coverage misgendering her.  Allen Andrade, the waste of DNA who committed the crime was later arrested, tried and convicted in a trial that was televised around the nation courtesy of TruTV.   Thanks to Crystal Ann Gray, I...Read Full Story

CNN Transgender Murder Trial Coverage Vid | Allen Andrade Accused of Killing Angie Zapata

By Chris on  From webtvhub.com
According to Associated Press: “Jurors have reached a verdict in the trial of a Colorado man charged with beating a transgender woman to death with a fire extinguisher.” Now it is just a matter of how hard to ‘throw the book’ at Andrade. What I am wondering is why something like a confession to using a fire extinguisher to bludgeon the victim to death would be suppressed. Isn’t that kind of important information?! You have to love the theatrics of the so-called law. At least he has been found...Read Full Story

Judge Denies Lesser Charge in Angie Zapata Murder Trial.

By Buffy2q on  From gaytheistagenda.lavenderliberal.com
The Angie Zapata case is moving to trial. The judge refused the defense attorney’s plea to reduce the charges (yes, he actually tried that tired and deceptive gay panic defense). Good on the judge! This case screams hate crime from the rooftops. ….. The defense was asking for a lessening of charges, specifically that the bias portion be dropped because this was a crime of passion and that Andrade’s reaction was provoked and caused understandable aggression. ….. If anyone doubts that this is...Read Full Story
