(Getty Images)more pics »Allison Baver is a speedskater and a darn good one! She was ranked third overall in the World Rankings in the 2005-2006 season, and she's been in 2 Olympics. A broken leg in 2009 didn't even get this athlete down -- she skated her way to a bronze medal in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
Allison Baver is a speed skater. (Getty)At the 2006 Olympics, she got 7th in the women's 500m, but she managed to medal in 2010 after competing in 3 events. She didn't make it through the semifinals in the 1500m, and then she was disqualified in the 1000m, but, she lucked out because her team came in 4th in the 3000m relay but got a bronze when one of the faster teams got disqualified.
There's not too much dirt to dish on Baver's personal life, but we do know she's a smarty! She graduated from Penn State for her bachelors, and got a MBA from New York Institute of Technology. Apparently she's single and living in Utah.
