"Smallville" fan favorite Allison Mack has booked her first TV gig since Clark Kent donned his cape and said goodbye to fans last spring. Deadline reports that Mack will play a major recurring role on "Wilfred," as a love interest for Elijah Wood's character, Ryan.Mack's role is described as an "attractive and edgy biochemist." Perhaps she'll discover the cure for Ryan's condition... in which he's developed a friendship with his neighbor's dog...
