Deaths Caused by Adult Video Game Addiction
Adults are supposed to be mature people ready to face their responsibilities inside the home and for the family. But when an adult is suffering from video game addiction , how else can he/she be the responsible parent that he/she should be?
In Korea, a 3-month-old child died of malnutrition because both her parents failed to take care of her needs. The parents would spend more hours in an internet café raising their virtual child rather than look after their own human child.
A 13-month-old boy drowned in a bathtub as his mother left him unattended to attend to her Café World and newsfeeds. The mother said she felt like her son is “independent enough” and “wants to be left alone”. Another mother, who was a Farmville junkie, killed her son as she shook him several times when he started crying.
A Holloman Air Force Mother has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for causing the death of her daughter due to malnutrition and dehydration. This mother spent hours playing World of Warcraft online instead of doing her mommy duties.
Tyrone Spellman surely tops the list of deaths caused by Adult Video Game Addiction. Spellman, an Xbox fanatic, was convicted of third degree murder, for killing his daughter in a rage over his broken Xbox. The 17-month-old child accidentally pulled out the Xbox console from its plug. Spellman beat the poor child with the console, cracking her skull several times.

. How sick and disturbed can these adults be to cause such heinous crimes to people they love is simply terrible and incomprehensible.
