The bowl win gives #9 South Carolina its 11th season win for the first time in the school's history.

South Carolina wide receiver Alshon Jeffery racked up four catches for 148 yards and a touchdown before he was removed from the game for fighting. Nebraska cornerback Alfonso Dennard was also booted from the game for the same incident.

Monday's loss marks the second straight year that Nebraska has lost its bowl game, making the team 12-6 all-time against SEC opponents.
