Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard, who was named one of People's Most Beautiful People in 2008, has a surprise: she's married and pregnant.
The former Playboy poser, 27, married photographer Sacha Brown, 34, May 1 on Wakatobi, an archipelago off southeastern Indonesia. The couple exchanged vows on a private beach at sunset. Their only witnesses were villagers. Beard and Brown covered up for the ceremony to adhere to local Muslim tradition.
Beard told People she is five and half months pregnant, and starting to show. She says she plans to return to the pool six months or so after she gives birth - and is definitely planning to compete in the 2012 Olympics.
