The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge spent three days in a “critical condition” in intensive care after giving birth to a baby girl on Monday.
Alison Griffin, a spokeswoman for Holden, 40, and her husband, Chris Hughes, said: “Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past three days.
“She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon.”
The baby, named Hollie Rose Hughes, weighed in at 6.1lbs and is said to be healthy, she added.
Holden, who already has a daughter, Lexi, is believed to have had a healthy pregnancy, despite being involved in a collision with a lorry in September which left her vehicle a write-off.
However, she lost a child less than a year ago when she was seven months into a pregnancy, while in 2010 she suffered a miscarriage.
The actress was seen showing off her baby bump at the launch of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in Manchester last week.
