Amanda Lepore is a fashion icon!  The transsexual icon has appeared in countless music videos, including her own, and is a popular subject of photographer David LaChapelle.  Moments after I met LaChapelle at an afterparty for his new exhibit, I met the fabulous Amanda Lepore.  Amanda was hosting her new weekly party Carnival on the top floor of New York’s Bowlmor Lanes.  If you haven’t been yet, you must go!  Under a circus tent – literally – there are performers, popcorn, prizes, cocktails, dancing and people dressed to the 9s, gay style!  It’s a blast!  The photo was taken by nightlife promoter, fashion designer, artist and hottie Joey Israel (more to come on his really great art coming soon - stay tuned).  Thanks Joey and thanks Amanda!  I had a wonderful time!
