Jenny McCarthy & Amanda Peet Battle Over Autism

Actress Amanda Peet did a recent interview with Spectrum Magazine where she claimed parents who choose not to vaccinate their children are ‘parasites.’

Amanda later apologized for her comments, saying:

“I believe in my heart that my use of the word ‘parasites’ was mean and divisive; I completely understand why it offended some parents, and in particular, parents of children with autism who feel that vaccines caused their illness. For this I am truly sorry.”

But Jenny is using the press to her advantage. She made a statement in Spectrum’s October/ November declaring, “she [Amanda] has a lot of balls to come forward and be on that side, because there is an angry mob on my side, I like the fact that I can say she’s completely wrong.”

Jenny is a mother of a recovered autistic child has and recently led a rally of thousands of people to Washington, DC, calling for the Federal Government to clean vaccines of all toxins and to change a loaded schedule that leads to the cause of autism.

There are to date, over 5000 cases of parents suing the government for improper immunization of children.

Doctors across the the nation are fighting back. According to the magazine, The American Acadamy of Pediatrics (AAP) put a nationwide casting call looking for a spokesperson to combat Jenny who has been gaining world wide media attention fighting against what she believes are unsafe vaccines.

Amanda Peet recently agreed to be a spokesperson for Ever Child By Two (ECBT) because she was concerned about the information circulating throughout Hollywood.

According to Jenny “Until she walks in our shoes she has no idea?? referring to Amanda Peet. She also says that the AAP “sucks.”

The National Autism Advocacy Group, Autism United, is calling for a boycott of all of Amanda Peet’s movies.

Executive Director, John Gilmore states:

“We want to send a clear message to her. Our community will not support the continued misinformation that is funneled into the media by organizations like ECBT and the AAP. We are not against vaccines, rather we are for safe vaccines. Until they understand that, we won’t back down. Ms. Peet’s comments are deplorable and an apology will not suffice. We applaud Jenny McCarthy’s continued efforts and for speaking up for our community.”

I’m not sure how the group will explain backing a woman that goes around punching people out, but I’m on their side. The government needs to be responsible for dirty vaccinations.

And, until Amanda has a normal child that is later diagnosed as autistic after being vaccinated, she should speak with parents of autistic children and find out their experiences before making blanket statements that will make her look like a moron.
