Millions of pounds worth of classic cars will be auctioned tonight.
A Mercedes Benz from the collection of Formula 1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone is expected to fetch up to £4 million as the historic cars change hands for a total of up to £20 million.
"Almost 100 cars from three major collections are going to bring the most discerning buyers to London. We will be showcasing the very best and rarest of European and American automobiles," said Rob Myers, founder of RM Auctions, which is staging the event, in association with Sotheby's, at London's Battersea Evolution exhibition centre.
