I have a dozen small sites that use around 10gb of bandwidth and 7gb of storage. The sites don't receive enough traffic to warrant a dedicated database server, but a small Amazon EC2 instance should cover it perfectly. Amazon Web Services today announced the public beta of new features for the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). The new features purport to allow for simple and automatic monitoring, scaling, and traffic control using cloud resources.
