Amber and Rob Mariano, my favorite couple that ever appeared on The Amazing Race, welcomed a baby girl it has been confirmed. Lucia Rose was born on the 4th of July and weighed in at 6 lbs., 11.5 oz. and measuring 19 ¼-in. long. Lucia’s name is in honor of Amber’s great-grandmother who died on July 4th.

“Both mom and baby are healthy and doing great,” says Rob. “Lucia is a great eater and sleeps a lot, however she tends to be a bit of a night owl like her daddy at times. She is a perfect baby and we could not have asked for anything more. We are over the moon with happiness at her arrival!”

I am so happy for the two of them, I have loved them together since they got together first on Survivor. I wish them happiness with their baby girl.
