Amber Hagerman
Amber Hagerman (November 25, 1986 – January 15, 1996) was a young girl from Arlington, Texas, whose abduction and murder inspired the creation of the AMBER Alert system.
Authorities deactivated an Amber Alert about 11:15 tonight but continued searching for a missing Kansas teen. Kansas authorities first issued the Amber Alert about 5:30 p.m. for 17-year-old Tara Renee Simhiser, who was reportedly abducted from her home in Marion County.
