Amber Lee Ettinger

Amber Lee Ettinger (born October 2, 1981) is an actress and model from Hazleton, Pennsylvania, now resides in New York City, New York, who is most notably known as the Obama Girl in I Got a Crush on Obama in which she lip syncs her love for junior United States Senator from Illinois and 2008 Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.[1] The video is titled "I Got a Crush... On Obama" and was first posted on YouTube in June 2007 and has since gotten over three million views.
It was co-written by Leah Kauffman and Rick Friedrich. She was also in the follow-up video titled "Obama Girl vs. Giuliani Girl."


Ettinger moved to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology to study fashion and clothing design and has high hopes to create her own clothing line and other business ventures.

In August 2003, Ettinger was crowned Miss NYC in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageant.

Ettinger was named Miss Howard TV for June 2007.
