I was really excited to receive my Limited Edition Collector’s
Two-Disc Set on Blu-ray the other day! It's been newly restored
and is such an awesome movie to watch! It's like watching magic
unfold before your very eyes right in your own home theater. Wow,
to think that I was 5 years old when this original movie came out.
It's amazing what the powers to be in Hollywood can do to a little
old film to make it spectacular. Here's the best part that they
updated:

THAT REDEFINED CINEMA NOW IN BREATHTAKING
HIGH-DEFINITION"

That's right, High-Definition tv, only the greatest invention
achieved since sliced bread or maybe the toaster. I'm not sure which
came first but it's big and it's the way to go with your movies. I'm
a little late talking about this but I had to get a chance to watch it
and it's a great movie to view. It's something the whole family (with
older kids), could
watch together because the classic's are always the best.

Edition Blu-ray release, Twentieth Century Fox and MGM

Home Entertainment paid homage to the remarkable film as

stars Rita Moreno, George Chakiris and Russ Tamblyn were

immortalized at the exact location of the film’s

original premiere in 1961 with a hand and footprint

ceremony at the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre

on November 15th.

Later in the evening, the three legends and other

Hollywood stars including Joe Mantegna, Jason Ritter,

Amber Tamblyn, Adam Shankman, Kenny Ortega, Morgan

Fairchild and Corbin Bleu, among others, walked the red

carpet prior to a one-night-only screening of the

10-time Oscar® winning film. Both events were hosted

by renowned producer, director and choreographer Kenny
