ANTM goes....HE/SHE??!?!??

As we all know, September is the month of Fall premiere's. New shows, new casts, new plots. Last night's ANTM Cycle 11 definitely went NEW - the premiere of the show's first transgender contestant. Isis, however, doesn't consider herself to be transgender or transsexual; she prefers "born in the wrong body."

Tyra first came across Isis when she posed as an extra in a Cycle 10 Photoshoot on homelessness. Well Isis sure did leave her mark! Tyra requested her for Cycle 11!!!!! And within the first night, she's left her mark again. The show briefly seemed more like America's Next Top Hater the way those girls tore into Isis. I guess they saw what Tyra saw - a MAJOR competitor.

According to ANTM executive producer Ken Mok, “We didn't know anything about her," Mok told ABCNews.com. "But when we started reviewing the photos, the girl that kept popping out of the background was Isis. She really knew what she was doing. Tyra wanted to know who she was. It was clear she really had a passion for modeling. So when it came to casting this season, we said, 'Why don't we find that girl?'"

Kudos to ANTM for making this move - granted this isn't a new trend in the modeling industry. As per ANTM panelist & noted photographer, Nigel Barker's interview with AM-NY, this has always been a part of modeling - "One of the things about the fashion industry, is that there have been many transgender models over the years. It's very legitimate in our industry," - it was only a matter a time before it was put out there for the public to know.

Biography: 22-year-old Isis is one of the contestants of the 11th cycle of America’s Next Top Model. Born in Prince George’s County, Maryland, she currently works as an assistant for a non-profit organization in New York City. She holds the distinction of being the first transgendered competitor on the reality show.

Mister & Miss Jay

The self-proclaimed diva and fashion expert of the show seem to be in desperate need of makeovers themselves. What is with the hair?!?! Oh Jeesh!! Mister Jay grew out his hair into some pseudo Shaggy look, while Miss Jay went shopping in Lil Kim's hair closet for his nouveau platinum blonde bob. SMH...

Hippie or Futuristic??!?!

Allegedly the Cycle 11 Theme - Top Model Institute of Technology. But why do their attire and promo photos seem more reminiscent of the hippie era?

Whose kid is this?!

Lesbian. Transgender. Flasher. Cage fighter. Skinny plus sizer. Dumb ivy leaguer!!!!

And WHY can't anyone name fashion designers and/or models?? YOU'RE ON A MODELING COMPETITION. Google some ish before you come on the show. After 10 cycles, 5 years, you think they'd know better. Tisk. Who else is ready for cycle 12?
