STRUCTURE OF DOCTORAL GOWN
Apart from a long tagged cap and hood there is some important notable points in the doctoral gowns.

Except from US, so many countries are follows gowns are opened. In other hand in US it remains closed one like roba. In ancient and medieval times, doctors and some other similar superior persons only allowed to wear brighter colors especially like ruby or red etc. but in England they are using some typical shape of gown for doctoral gown. Both Oxford and Cambridge dominates well in this shape classification. Sleeves are the main difference in these two.
