FUEL TV Airs 2008 VTCS: Reef Pro Haleiwa

Airing Monday, February 16, 2009 at 8:00pm Eastern Time (5:00pm Pacific Time), and re-airing several more times through February and March, FUEL TV will showcase 2008 VTCS: Reef Pro Haleiwa. The first stop of the 2008 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing was the 2008 Reef Pro Haleiwa, which turned out to be one of the best contests ever held for the first jewel of the Triple Crown. With conditions that more closely resembled the hollow tubes of Tahiti or Hawaii’s Off-The-Wall, the finalists put on an unbelievable demonstration of deep tube riding. Kekoa Bacalso, Dusty Payne, Michel Bourez, 2000 World Champ
