MICHAEL JOHNS ELIMINATION SHOCKER! AMERICAN IDOL "SEASON 7; TOP 8" RECAP
I know I am now a little johnny-come-lately to this, but I wasn't able to compose a posting last night due to plans with friends, but how shocked is everyone that Michael Johns was eliminated from AMERICAN IDOL last night??
I didn't even have Michael pegged for the "Bottom 3" (which also included Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado . . . as predicted), and here he is voted off of the show now! WOW!! Some are calling this the most shocking elimination in AI history, and there are even hints of a conspiracy theory and that the show is rigged. I don't know about all that, but I do believe whomever sent Michael packing last night (whether it be voters, producers, or a combination of the two), definitely got it wrong. Granted, there are so many truly talented performers this year that each week someone's favorite is going to be sent home, but do Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha really deserve to stay on the show longer than Michael?
Oh well . . . as long as Brooke White and David Archuleta make it to the "Top 2", I will be happy!
