'American Idol' Reject Magic Cyclops Caught Panhandling
Magic Cyclops (TMZ) For American Idol fans who were distraught at the tragic loss of Magic Cyclops from the show, there's some good news for you. Rejoice, Magic Cyclops has returned… as the guy asking for spare change on the freeway.What's that? You don't remember Magic Cyclops? Well, he's the dude who was born and raised in Iowa but who had a English accent. You know, the guy with the American flag shirt and bandana that the judges unanimously rejected after butchering Neil Diamond and shooting confetti out of his ass.
Now, the Magic Cyclops is trying to spin his 15 minutes of fame into a lucrative panhandling career. TMZ caught Magic on the roadside with a nifty "Didn't get my golden ticket. Anything helps." sign in the hopes of cashing in on people's generosity. He told the site that his Idol rejection has tarnished his reputation because "now people know I don't have the talent I thought I had."
