Have you seen the videos on CollegeClickTV.com? They have videos for prospective students to look for information about colleges. If you go by videos like this one: http://collegeclicktv.com/?v=24210, a big portion of what kids are looking for when they pick a college is what the drinking scene is like. It's gonna happen anyway... just lower the age.
You must be underage, I believe they should raise it to 25 and I have always thought that. You do alot of matureing between 21 and 25 years of age. Any one over 30 can look back and see it, you have more people now that are alcholics than ever before more people die from drinking and driving than ever before, and more kids 21 and under in alchol related accidents and arrest than ever before kids can't handle it now if made legal it would only compund the problem a thousand times.

just because people are going to do it does not mean that we should lower it. there are always going to be people that disobey the laws. just because people speed, does that mean that we should take away speed limits? lowering it will just give people easier access. and, not to mention, there are people who dont drink because it is illegal, but if you lower the age then those people will drink. as a minor, i know that many people my age are too immature to a)drink resposibly and b)not drink and drive. too many people will be killed if the drinking age is lowered.
