Mehmet Okur scored a game high 22 points on Saturday night, as the Utah Jazz shot 53.5% (38-71) from the floor for the game, while holding the visiting Detroit Pistons to an anemic 35.9% (28-78) and defeated the Pistons handily 99-82. While The Pistons were losing to the Jazz Wednesday night, all I kept wondering was...Where is Amir Johnson? What I can't understand is why Flip Saunders didn't play Amir against the Jazz, after playing him for 16 games straight. Heck, if The Pistons ever needed Amir it was last night against the Jazz... Amir Johnson and Jason Maxiell played like monsters Wednesday night against the Pacers. Amir just about blocked everyone who attempted a shot. He had an unbelievable 7 blocks to go along with his 8 points and 9 rebounds. Amir was very active. In the second quarter, he fought hard for a rebound while lying on the floor until the shot clock ran out. That was funny. Jason Maxiell was excellent.
