Ameesha Patel (born June 9, 1976 as Amisha Patel) is an Indian actress famous for appearing in Bollywood films such as "Kaho Naa Pyar." Born in Mumbai, this trained Indian classical dancer after completing her schooling, left for the US to pursue biotech engineering. The brilliant girl won a gold-medal in Economics from the State University of Boston, worked for a finance company and did some modelling in between. Her brief modeling stint caught everyone's eye and paved the way for her entry into films. Amisha gave a mind blowing performance in the film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'. This talented actress is a strong, determined girl who believes in achieving her dreams and is very dedicated, sincere and hard working.
