One of the deepest mysteries ever to hit the village of Plainfield still lingers: What happened to Lisa Ruttenberg Stebic. The mother of two, who would be 42 today, disappeared without a trace five years ago. She was last seen about 6 p.m. on April 30, 2007, at her home, 13244 Red Star Drive. She and her husband, Craig Stebic, were in the midst of a divorce at the time.

In a statement, Lisa Stebic's older sister, Debbie Ruttenberg, says her sister is missed all the time and it doesn't get any easier not knowing what happened. She says she's hopeful for justice. No arrests have been made in Lisa Stebic's disappearance.
