Choosing the right Fertility Lubrciant
Pre-seed Lubricant has been around for quite some time now, it was the first sperm friendly lubricant to be marketed to couples that were TTC (trying to conceive). It is pH balanced to vaginal fluid so the sperm can swim through it. Conceive Plus is also sperm friendly, with Calcium and Magnesium Ions which can actually help the sperm. Both of these fertility lubricants are definately sperm friendly and will not hinder sperm unlike other lubricants. Many couples have reported pregnancy very quickly after switching to a fertility lubricant.
What are Digital Ovulation Tests
Using a digital ovulation test can take the headache out of trying to determine when you are ovulating.
A simple, yet effective ‘smiley face’ will appear once your LH surge has been detected. Digital Ovulation Tests are midstream tests that you use while peeing rather than collecting your urine in a container. If you prefer they can be dipped into your previously collected urine. The downside is that digital ovulation test kits are considerably more expensive than other ovulation test strips. Often you can get 50 or more ovulation tests for the price of just 7 digital ovulation tests.
Should I use a Midstream Pregnancy Tests
All pregnancy tests work the same, they are sensitive to the HCG that is present in your urine when pregnant.
The HCG starts off very low so a very sensitive pregnancy test is required to detect pregnancy, often 10miu/ml pregnancy tests are the only ones that will give you a positive result really early. Most midstream pregnancy tests will require that you wait until your period is due or a day late. Digital Midstream tests are less sensitive than the test strips that you dip into urine so if you are planning on using one make sure you wait until your period is due to avoid wasting money. The midstream test is less ‘messy’ than a pregnancy test strip and offers more privacy as you can perform the test while still in the toilet. Ultimately the choice will come down to which suits you best, both for ease of use and financially.
