Remember an actress named Amy Jo Johnson? I can tell that name doesn’t ring any bells or whistles, but she is currently co-starring in the soon-to-be-canceled TV show “Flash Forward”……No? Still nothing? Anyway, Amy Jo was spotted in Vancouver yesterday filming the rest of “Flash Forward”.

Well, she was a big part of my early 90’s pre-pubescent childhood because I know her mainly as Kimberly AKA “the Pink Ranger” from the TV show “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” (although it’s obvious she didn’t do any of her own stunts)! Woo, yeah! I loved the Pink Ranger.

I do have a short little tale to give about my one and only run-in with Amy. In early 1997, NBC came to my high school in Tujunga, CA to film a TV movie in the school gym (known as “Killing Mr. Griffin”). I quickly found out that Amy Jo and MARIO LOPEZ were starring in the flick, so I skipped one of my classes and got to see her leave her trailer and she waved at me! SIGH….I can guarantee she does not remember that day, but that’s okay, I still love the Pink Ranger.
