Archie Arnett was born on October 25th to Amy Poehler and Will Arnett. This is the first child for the Saturday Night Live stars. He weighed 8 lbs and 1 oz at birth.
Arnett will be starring in the big-screen comedy When in Rome and Poehler will return to NBC in the spring as the star of an as-yet-untitled primetime comedy since she is leaving SNL this year.

Comedy couple, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett welcomed their first child, a baby boy, yesterday. I was watching SNL last night and I got so excited during weekend update Seth Myers announced, “Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby.”
Archie Arnett was born on Saturday and weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz., their rep Lewis Kay said in a statement.
“Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably,” Kay said.

Amy Poehler gave birth to son Archie 2 week ago, and on the night she gave birth, Amy’s SNL co-stars saluted her - something she reportedly “really loved.”
The cast inserted the words, “We love you, Amy!” into Frankie Valli’s classic Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, and fellow cast member Kenan Thompson explained,
“She texted us. She was watching with the baby in the bed. She said, ‘Aww, you made me cry! I’m with Archibald the baby and watching it.’”
