Amy Winehouse's medical bills may be singlehandedly keeping the St. Lucia hospital in business. For the third time in three months, Amy Winehouse has ended up in the hospital Friday after a "booze bender," according to the Sun.

The singer was drinking in her Caribbean villa when she became sick, and some worried friends called an ambulance. She was discharged later that night, but pals are concerned about the permanent damage her antics are doing to her career. Her performance at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival was so disastrous that there's no reason to think her upcoming comeback show in London will be any better. The concert is scheduled for May 31.

A friend told the Sun:
Amy’s gig might as well be cancelled now. She’s not going to make it. It’s not worth her while even if she does make it, it will be a shambles. She is not ready for it and she proved it at the festival. According to the paper, Amy has her drug addiction under control -- it's just the alcohol that's left to deal with, and progress has been slow. Or nonexistent.
